My mum and i need to get to Edinburgh on the 31st Jan, or on the 30th if in the evening, to return on the 1st Feb. Anyone know where we can get cheep flights or train tickets? Anywhere in London to Edinburgh/Glasgow.

* TRY BUYING AT A TOC STATION: Stations managed by your TOC (train operating company) sometimes sell cheeper tickets than stations operated by other TOCs or National Rail.
* BUY TWO SINGLES: Sometimes two singles can be cheeper than a return ticket.
* SAVE ON ACCOMODATION: Sleeper trains from London to Scotland available from only #19. Save on no hotel for the night.
* TRY MEGATRAIN.COM: http://www.megatrain.com have really cheep fares available (but I think not on your route).
* TRAVEL OFF-PEAK: Travel at off-peak times, if you can.
